Job Description
Provide technical support to Siebel users who are spread across the Sales/Support/Marketing/PSO departments.
• Administer and Maintain Siebel 7.x Call Center and eService Application.
• Support Siebel EAI and EIM and other integration processes.
• Support Siebel Workflow process and Business Service modules.
• Configure and maintain Assignment Manager. Configure other Siebel modules to support the business’ requirements.
• Assist in Application tuning.
• Respond to customer issues through VMware’s internal ticketing system.
• Support and enhance integration(s) with various systems in Sales, Support, Finance and Marketing.
• Interact with management, customers and development to provide updates on system availability, plan application maintenance through change management and manage execution of periodic releases.
• Develop and support data migration processes to bring data into Siebel from other systems

Desired Candidate Profile
In depth working knowledge of Siebel 7x. Exposure across various Siebel horizontal/vertical packages like Siebel Sales, Call Center, Field Service and reporting tools like Actuate is required.
• Must have done Siebel Tools configuration across Siebel 7.x. Experience in customization involving Siebel Visual Basic (VB) code and Siebel eScript is a must.
• Siebel debugging experience, specifically around Siebel Workflow.
• Experience in Monitoring of Siebel environment for 7X24 availability and performance tracking.
• Experience in Siebel Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM), Siebel Actuate Server and Siebel Workflow processes for data integration/migration.
• Experience with Oracle 10g database with proficiency writing SQL and PL/SQL.
• Siebel 7.x certification preferred.
Education: (minimum requirement)
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with at least 5 years of professional experience, at least 3 of those years working with Siebel Applications.
OR
• Masters Degree in Business or Computer Science with at least 3 years of experience and at least 2 of those years working with Siebel Applications
