Job Description
*3-5 years of work experience as Oracle (8i/9i/10g) DBA in Windows/Sun Solaris environment

*Software Installation and maintenance of Oracle on Solaris and Windows systems;

*Providing day-to-day Support and Maintenance for key Oracle databases and services.
*Competence with database commands and utilities such as exp, imp, sql loader, etc.
*Proper Database Backup, Restoration and Disaster Recovery Processes.
*Solid experience with the UNIX OS and command set as well as competence with shell scripting.

*Ability to write, debug and tune SQL and Pl/Sql, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, etc.

*Investigate and test Oracle software and patch releases;

*Ensure database performance, availability, and security;

*Monitor and optimize database performances;

*Knowledge of Physical and Logical Disk systems and their impact on Database performance.
*Must possess written and verbal communication skills.
*Oracle Certification Added advantage

*Excellent attitude and presentation skills.
